Bio:

Anthony Fuentes is a Chicago-based stand-up comedian who originally hails from Brooklyn, New York. He moved to Chicago in 2011, where he began using comedy as a therapeutic outlet to cope with PTSD while bartending and connecting with his patrons.
Anthony’s passion for comedy was sparked early in life, inspired by legends like Eddie Murphy, Freddie Prinze, George Carlin, Dave Chappelle, and Richard Pryor—whose work he studied obsessively throughout his youth.
Known for his sharp storytelling and infectious energy, Anthony draws from his experiences growing up in the ’80s and ’90s, fatherhood, relationships, and everyday life. His performances are a hilarious and heartfelt blend of truth, humor, and nostalgia that keeps audiences laughing nonstop.
A veteran of the armed forces, Anthony credits his military background for the discipline and perseverance that have fueled his rise in comedy. Today, he uses his platform not only to entertain but also to advocate for veterans and raise awareness about PTSD. He regularly performs at VFWs and for veteran communities across the country, bringing laughter and connection to those who’ve served.
Anthony has headlined renowned comedy clubs nationwide, including Zanies, The Comedy Cellar, and The Laugh Factory. He has toured major cities such as Las Vegas, New York, Tempe, Philadelphia, and Tampa. He’s been featured on Chicago’s Very Own WGN and recently wrapped filming his debut comedy special, My Way, which is currently in post-production.
He has also shared the stage with comedy greats like Mark Viera, Ralph Barbosa, and Ken Flores. Anthony is currently performing at clubs across the country.  Catch him in a city near you!
