Bio:

Born and raised in East Nashville, Tennessee, Dorian Brown—better known as Flashflood— has been making people laugh long before he ever stepped onto a comedy stage. A proud husband and father of five, Flashflood has always had a natural talent for turning everyday life into comedy. In fact, his reputation as a class clown started early. During his freshman year of high school, Dorian attended Stratford, Maplewood, McGavock, and somehow ended up back at Stratford—all because he was too busy making people laugh and not busy enough staying out of trouble.

Looking back, those school transfers may have been the first signs that comedy was more than
just something he did—it was who he was. It wasn’t until 2010, however, that Dorian finally realized he was a comedian. That year, he stopped fighting it, embraced who he was, and accepted the calling. Flashflood was born. With a style that is physical, animated, unapologetic, and high-energy, Flashflood has developed a reputation for commanding the stage and keeping audiences engaged from the moment he walks out. His expressive delivery and physical comedy allow him to turn ordinary experiences—especially the realities of family, relationships, fatherhood, and everyday life—into memorable comedic moments.

A proud Nashville native, Flashflood has performed at the legendary Zanies Comedy Club and has shared the stage with nationally recognized comedian Nephew Tommy. After more than a decade of performing, he continues to build his name and make his presence felt throughout the comedy scene.

For Flashflood, comedy isn’t just about telling jokes—it’s about bringing the energy, connecting with the crowd, and making sure nobody leaves without laughing. And his name isn’t just a stage name. When Flashflood hits the stage, the laughter comes rushing in.
